Keep my tortoises warm By:
It has gotten down to 35* at night but these bulbs attached to a thermostat keep my tort houses (insulated dogloos) at 95*.
Small but effective. By:
Small but produces plenty of heat for my red eared turtle.
Perfect for my Desert Agama, and her desert habitat. By:
This bulb is perfect for my Desert Agama lizard, which is housed in a 40 gallon tank that is fairly tall. I want SOME heat in there, but not too much. Keeps the temp exactly where it is supposed to be for them, and since it is low profile, you don't need to use a tall reflector dome (I use the small 5" black one from Zilla). Definitely will be purchasing another to have as a spare!
My beardie‘s new favorite! By:
I use this ceramic heater for a 150 gallon terrarium for my bearded dragon, Biggie and she loves it! This was my first ever ceramic heater but I know I will not be switching back. It’s the best option as far as not harming my beardie’s eyesight and it reaches the peak 90-100 degrees I need for the basking spot. Be sure to get the proper clamp lamp and ideally a lamp stand for optimum usage.
Five Stars By:
Awesome deal
Oooo baby that's hot! By:
Lol I do not have a lizard big enough for this 🤷‍♂️ time to get a tegu
Good bulb, just too small for a 20L. By:
This bulb worked perfectly fine but I would NOT recommend it for a 20L tank if you are keeping geckos. It's heat output is not strong enough to carry to the bottom in such an open space. However if you are using this for baby chicks or eggs it would be an appropriate size if you did not need to worry about keeping a screen on the top of a cage. (FYI for those not keeping geckos) from the top of the screen on my 20L to about the bottom 3inches (about 9 inches from top to 3 inches from bottom) the temperature would fluctuate from 75-82 and could not climb higher due to the distance and lack of power. I then tried a 100w I bought from petco so I could return it if I did not have enough output and it still would fluctuate between 79-83 and could not climb and consistently stay at 85 like I wanted it to. So I ponied up and got a 150w bulb and it works perfectly. WARNING: please make sure to always use a temperature probe to regulate the temperature within a live animals cage. Also please make sure to use a CERAMIC heater lamp with this product, if the socket is not ceramic then the wires inside could easily de-soldier themselves leading to an electrical fire, dead animals, and worst the loss of a house.
Great for brooding chicks. By:
For brooding chicks. I kept them warm without having to stress them by being under light 24x7. Lights just in the daytime. The chicks turned out great and this heater, being ceramic seems like it should last for several seasons.
Beardie loves it ! By:
Beardie loves it. She prefers the darkness at night rather than using a red bulb with light.Gives her enough heat and she crawls right under it and falls asleep quickly.Ceramic bulb itself gets up to 400degrees so make sure you let it cool before you touch it. It will burn through oven mitts.
Works great By:
Keeps my chickens warm in the winter

Really works! Strangely tho, our cat - who we bought it for - doesn’t sleep near it - go figure.
Quiet Chicks By:
Replaced the red warming bulb with this and baby chicks slept through the night without bickering. Highly recommend! Not sure how warm it will keep outdoor chicks in cold weather, but worked great for new chicks indoors.
Bearded Dragon By:
Paired with the standard lamp for reptiles, it gets up to about 80-90 F. my beardy seems to enjoy it, especially great for nighttime, so he can sleep peacefully without a light always being on.
Just what was promised By:
Does exactly what I expected. Low, safe output for close in use.
No light is perfect! By:
Love that this bulb is just heat and no light. We can keep it on all night to keep our creature warm on the cold winter nights!
Thumbs up By:
Works great
Great for added heat By:
I use this in my bearded dragon tank both day and night. My basking bulb wasn’t getting the tank hot enough during the day so I supplement with this bulb and also keep it on during the night so temps don’t drop too low
Works great. holds the heat. will get again. By:
Got this for my python. Works great. The price is awesome compared to reptile bulbs in the stores.

Still going strong after 2.5 years By:
3 rounds of baby chicks and I have only burnt myself once since it is easy to forget its on. Zero complaints otherwise.
Bearded Dragon Loves it for Nighttime By:
I use this light at night when my bearded dragon is sleeping to eliminate light in the tank and keep him warm. It gets very hot and only use it with a fixture that has a ceramic top. I have these in all wattages for my different reptiles and they all last quite a while too
Works well, having no light is nice for night heat. By:
Placed on top of tortoise enclosure. Keeps the cage at temperature. Not having light is amazing as you can keep heat 24 hours a day if your like me and drop the house temperature significantly at night.
AMAZING!!! Would give 25 Stars!!! Keep your well from freezing!!! By:
This is the best little heater "light" going. Zero light, all heat. I set this up last fall (2017). I installed with a work light deflector (the silver bowl) in my water pump shed on a SmartThings controlled outlet (Actually I set up two of them on the same outlet, one aimed at pressure switch and another at the back side of the pressure tank) So Samsung SmartThings controls the outlet. I set a routine up that if the outside temperature drops below 32 degrees that outlet comes on. My water shed is 6'W X 6'L X 8'H (Kinda looks like an old out house) Plywood side, dirt floor, only insulation (sides only) is that green 3/8" thick stuff from Lowes. First time the temperature dropped below 32 I pulled up SmartThings to make sure it had come on in the middle of the night when the temp dropped. Now the SmartThings outlet tells you the temperature (and a history) of where the outlet is. In this case mounted in a box 12" off the dirt ground. The outside temperature had only dropped to 30 at it's lowest point, but it stayed below the set point all night and the inside of the shed was 59 degrees. Two of these heaters, 6'X6'X8' with just ok insulation. Worst cold we had last year was about -4 degrees outside, temperature in the shed was 35 degrees at that time...12" off the ground. These little heaters are AMAZING, best money you'll ever spend to keep your well from freezing.Just did a rebuild on this. Two outlets, four lamps. One set of lamps comes on at 32 degrees the other comes on at 5 degrees. I doubled the green board insulation in the shed, did the roof, foamed up the cracks and installed a small vent (They need to be able to breath some, or the condensation will be terriable) I also put a padio block floor down then sealed up all the cracks with caluking. In addition I put a Samsung SmartThings water leak sensor and multi-purpose sensor inside. The multi-purpose will tell me the tempature at the top of the door frame (also can set a high limit to act as a heat alarm to detect a fire inside) and it will also tell me if the door is opened (or left open). No leaks, no fires, no freeze, no more worrying about my well all winter.
Works great for nighttime for reptiles. By:
Nice toasty reptiles.

love it
Reliable By:
Has worked so far (have twice used it to heat the oven space to make Natto).
Five Stars By:
No issues here.
Perfect for cold weather By:
It gives off good heat and it warms up quick. I use it for my outdoor finch aviary and it works great. Will definitely pick up more bulbs for winter.
Works like it says it will By:
So I bought this IR heater for my quail brooder. I didn't test it beyond the 90s, because I don't want to cook my quail chicks. There's no light, so at first I couldn't tell if it was working or not. So you'll need a thermostat.

I've been using this for my bearded dragon in a 40 gallon breeder for about a month and so far it works great. We keep our house at 65 and it keeps the tank at about 70-72 at night. The thermometer is pretty accurate and I have no problem getting it to stay suctioned.
