Great for pet snake that doesn't require a whole lot of humidity By:
I really like using this ceramic heater for my snake (Kingsnake). Keeps the warm side around 85°F from 12 inches away which is perfect for the little guy. Only downside is it lowers humidity. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone whose looking to warm up their reptiles enclosure a little bit more.
My Oh My Frank is happy By:
After one day of using this. I've never saw my Leopard Gecko. ( Frank ) so active. As you see I have a camera on him. Since I got rid of the red bulb. Frank is so happy. Could maybe be a little warmer tho. Hes in a 20 gallon. Definitely recommend this.
Perfect for the winter! By:
I hd never seen these before and Iâm happy I found them! Perfect to keep my tortoise tank at the right temp during the winter. They seem to love it. So much better than the light bulb version.
Good product By:
Perfect for my hedgehog before it got to chilly!
Great.I wish i would know about this before loosing my adorable too many chicks.only little downside is no light so i should have a light for them.

Perfect alternative heat for Exo Terra 18x18x18" By:
I will never go back to red bulbs for heat, only ceramic. I needed this along with a 60w day bulb for my crocodile skink and it's great at maintaining 70-85 degrees F in an 18x18x18" tank. You do however need a lamp that points it straight down, not sideways like some hoods do. The benefits of ceramic emitters are the lack of light for true darkness and the longevity of them. Red bulbs blow out too frequent, but I've had ceramics for years.
Good light By:
This is the way to go to keep your reptile warm. My iguanas habit is 18x24x36, glass. I believe I need to purchase a second heatlight because there is just too much space for one light. So I'm buying another.
â Perfect for high humidity terrariums; lasts up to 10,000 hours
â Use only with a porcelain socket (E26 socket). To avoid scald, please wait at least 1 hour of cool down after turn it off
â Voltage: AC 110-120V; Power: 150w; Material: Ceramic, Metal, NiCrAl
â This non-light emitting heater bulb offers an excellent 24 hours heat source and will thoroughly heat any reptile without the disturbance of an additional light source
â It will also increase the ambient air temperature in the terrarium. Infrared heat penetrates the scales and skin tissue, promoting health and healing as it widens the blood vessels and increases blood circulation.

I bought this for my ball python since her UTH wasn't heating the tank enough. With this I had zero issues. I would suggest though getting a dimmer for it or even better; a thermostat. My snake is very happy so I am happy.

Arrived intact and installed easily. One week in and it is keeping our Hedgehog's Habitat at the correct temp. No burning smell as stated by other reviewers but I did have to remove glue strands before I turned the lamp on.
