Love it! By:
Great gaming pad. Not squishy or cheap feeling at all. I could never go back to the plate style I previously had after being spoiled with this!
Awesome By:
Awesome keyboard, I have it for about 3 years and it still working fine
It's a mouse pad. By:
It's a pretty decent mouse pad. The size is reasonable, t's not enormous but it's not too small either. The material feels pretty good and durable. I've owned it for a relatively short duration but I'm happy with it.
good product By:
its very good
Exactly what I was looking for. By:
Heavy and Large. Exactly what I was looking for.
Good Mat By:
So far so good. The mat is nice and heavy, it does not move around and it covers a good area more than enough space for a keyboard and mouse.

My new favorite for FPS - Thumb rest and DPI clutch are now must-haves (for me) By:
I primarily use this for Battlefield 5. In the past, I've used a SteelSeries Rival 300, 500 and 600 as well as a Logitech G502. The Razer Basilisk is my new favorite.Pros:Premium material feel and finishThumb restDPI Clutch - the paddle itself is metal. I've remapped it to my Spacebar. I don't find myself searching for it - it's just right there. The other two side buttons are easy to find as well.Variable resistance scroll wheelSlope of the RMB and concave LMBBraided cordGreat price (I paid $55)Cons:The clutch paddle has a solid (magnetic) connection, but I'm afraid If I ever lose it, I won't be able to replace it (unless I use the smaller one that came with it)
Really good for FPS games By:
Love this Mouse!!!!
AS PER MY GRANDSON By:
REALLY COOL
Exactly What I Needed By:
I had a Razer Deathadder mouse before that I bought from a retail store (Target) and after around a year of use the glue that attaches the thumb pads on the sides of the mouse began to turn into a non-sticky substance. This meant that the pads would freely slide around the thumb pad frame which is definitely not good for gaming. I play a lot of CSGO, R6S, Hunt: Showdown, Rust, and a couple others which requires a smooth, stable mouse that had at least two side buttons. On the Deathadder the buttons were a little shorter in height relative to the side of the mouse, and they were also wider. I definitely prefer the Basilisk's side buttons in comparison because they are easier to press as well as they give a lot more feedback to your fingers. The side groove is also another feature that I truly needed. My thumb on the Deathadder would be drug across my pad with each mouse movement which works but with my thumb resting on the rubber pad on the groove my aiming felt a lot more stable. Speaking of the rubber pads, they are SO much nicer than the Deathadder's. The grooves in them are so much better than the spotted pads on the Deathadder. Usually if I got even a slight amount of bodily oil on the Deathadder pads, they became a slip and slide. However I haven't had a single problem with the grips on the Basilisk. As always I have to compliment the Razer software that becomes available with the products as they make it easy to make profiles and presets to get that sweet range of dpi you need. The only problem I have with the software has to be Razer Cortex (this is unrelated to the product by the way) and its game booster program. I never saw any increase in performance (although it could easily have been because of a bottleneck in my system that Cortex can't help with) and it will not work with any games that are running off an SSD, it will actually slow them down. Easily my best mouse I've had so far though.
Five Stars By:
Sturdy and precise.
Pointer mover By:
Mouses better than other mouses
Amazing! By:
I love how easy it is to use and that the clutch is metal.
works great By:
bought it for a friend he loves it
Nice mouse for its price By:
Really nice mouse, use it for all my needs, works great.
Not too big and very comfortable mouse By:
Love it! I'm replacing a CM Storm Havoc (not made anymore) which worked well but was a little too wide. The Basilisk is narrower, fits my (female) hand better. I love the ability to change the resistance of the wheel. The wheel is rubber-coated and easy to grip, and has a soft ratchet sound. The mouse itself slides over my desk with almost no sound, the feet are super-slippery. Rubber on the sides makes it easy to pick up when needed. I also like the Synapse software - had no problems that others have reported. I love the LEDs and the ability to set it for a very slow cycle through all colors. The wheel looks like a Tron light cycle wheel - very cool.

This mouse is god-like By:
This is thee fps mouse i highly recommend this mouse over the Logitech g502
Great By:
Great mouse wish I could customize more lighting but it’s a mouse so I can’t expect much
love these By:
ive been using the PC since floppy disks were out. i used the microsoft intelli explorer 3.0 then some logitech mouses then i found the death adder. i have had 3 versions of the death adder (green only, RGB, to this RGB) and just got the new version. i love the mouses. they are good quality and do what i need it to do. the new one i just got the buttons in the center adjust sensitivity out of the box. the two buttons next to thumb can go forward and back in the internet - i dont get crazy with mouse buttons. i dont have the software installed and it still cycles through the RGB colors. the clicks feel nice and smooth the scroll wheel is sweet too. you can tell a lot about a person by how clean their mouse is - lol! i am not getting paid to write this and just with anything in life it can turn out bad or go well for you. i haven't had any of these die on me just kept upgrading and I use one for work too. if you want a mouse in this price range go for it.
Met all my expectations By:
So far so good! It's only been a couple of weeks, but it seems good quality and the movability, ease of speed control and LED color options are great. First gaming mouse I've gotten.
nice mouse By:
this is a really nice mouse. it's on the large side so it fits my hand really well. the grips near the bottom on each side of the mouse are a neat touch. there are several dpi settings if you're into that. the shifting chroma color function is also pretty cool. overall a really nice quality mouse. glad i decided to try it out.
Had for almost a year By:
bought this a while back. still, have it and use it and it is amazinggg.
Better than Logitech By:
This is the first Razer product I have used ever in my lifetime. Before this, I owned a Logitech mouse and I was hesitant on buying the Deathadder as I already had a functioning mouse. I do not regret my decision purchasing this as it feels ten times better than the pleasure Logitech offered.I highly recommend this mouse for gaming or casual internet browsing. It also looks AMAZING in the dark. I will definitely purchase more Razer products in the future!
it's super cool especially after Mac mouse By:
great! wanted this kinda mouse, and now I have it!
Good Gaming Mouse! By:
I absolutely love this mouse! Very reactive and responsive. Love the RGB and the build quality!
Great gaming mice By:
Two side foam very nice

Love the weights By:
Love the included weights
Have a good computer to have good performance with the mouse asswell as a keyboard. By:
This was such a comfortable mouse. The water weights really changed the game! Being able to fling my hand and not have too much lag really improves my gaming performance! The DPI is so mageable and the software If extraordinary! A little issue though. When playing Fortnite, or CSGO, the light may flicker. But if you don’t want that. Just make a new configuration on the software and your good to go! Thanks @steelseries for this excellent product and outstanding performance!
perfact By:
all is good
A terrific mouse By:
I purchased this mouse to complement my MSI Raider RGB laptop. The laptop comes with a Steel Series keyboard that lights up, as well as lights on the cover of the laptop that can be configured using the Steel Series Engine software. The mouse itself feels very good in my hand. It's comfortable and has plenty of buttons and feels solid. I played around with a Logitech 905 wireless mouse at a local store, and it felt flimsy by comparison. The accuracy of the mouse is a noticeable upgrade from my Logitech m505 that I was using until this mouse arrived.Having said that, this mouse is really the only choice if you already have a Steel Series keyboard or display or, as in my case, Steel Series hardware built into your laptop. The Steel Series Engine comes with an app that can be used to coordinate the lights for each device so they all match. It definitely impressed my friends and coworkers at the office. You can also customize the lights with different patterns in the software, or turn it off if you want to conserve battery life. The mouse charges to full in no time at all and lasts a good little while. I used it for a marathon session this evening, playing League of Legends, World of Warcraft, and I even got some work done.Overall this is a terrific mouse by itself, but if you already have Steel Series hardware like a keyboard, this is almost your only logical choice if you are shopping for a mouse.
Feels as great as it looks By:
its very nice, easy to use, and feels like it was made very well. Looks much better in-hand!
Solid product By:
I have medium size hands and it fits perfect. Buttons easy to click with no strain
Universal grip, high quality, simple setup By:
Very universal to all grip styles and size of hand unless you’re Hagrid or something. Great quality and durability, nerd rage proof so good for me. The software UI for the mouse is also simple to use and just so you know, this mouse used CPI rather than DPI which is more a accurate measurement and not hard to adapt to. Overall vvvv nice
Good handling By:
Used without the weights, i like very light mouse
Great Mouse, Bad Price By:
I bought this mouse for about $40. At that price its a great buy. At full price its a waste of money. All the special features listed are almost pointless. But it looks and feels nice.
