I've tried my share of lap desks and this one is by far the best I've bought. This mouse pad is perfect. The tablet holder allows you to keep a tablet or cell phone close by and eliminates the fear of sliding off and falling on the floor. I highly recommend this lap desk!

Although I normally use my new MBP both at work and in the home office connected to multiple monitors, there are times when I do want to take it alone to a sofa in the family room or the living room and wanted to get a good lap stand that would be stable, comfortable and also large enough to accommodate a numeric keypad on the right side of the MBP since I do a lot of spreadsheet work.The keypad fits perfectly in the mouse pad area and the angle of the stand is also perfect for viewing the display while providing excellent comfort with the pad underneath not too soft or too stiff. The tray receptacle is a nice touch as well for a phone. It's a very well thought-out lap stand and I can't really think of anything else I'd want on it. It may be a little large for some who don't need to use a mouse or a keypad but for those who do, this is really great.I looked at dozens of such stands on Amazon and I feel I made the best choice for what I needed it for. It's a good value as well and I really can't thin of anything I don't like about it. I need notice some little dents and blemishes on the wood surface but this is one of those items that will quickly develop those anyway. Excellent stand and highly recommended.

This thing is great and helps with ergonomics while using my computer on the sofa. It had a very heavy chemical smell when I first took it out of the box but that faded after a few days. My only complaint is that with a 15" laptop, there isn't quite enough room to use a traditional mouse so instead I use a marble mouse.

Great product to hold my laptop while I work from my recliner. It even has a place for my mouse that has a little rougher surface than the rest. There is also a raised edge to keep the laptop from sliding toward me. Putting a laptop on sometime like a pillow can cause it to overheat and this product solves that problem.

Perfect for when Iâm studying. The soft bottom helps so much with positioning. I tend to move a lot while studying on the couch and this allows for easy mobility and position changes. Love that it comes with the pen holding slot.

I like this desk. I was worried that it would not be any better that holding the laptop in my legs directly, but it actually is better, very much. It makes me tense my legs less and hold the computer less with my forearms. So I can type more easily for longer and door in a more comfortable seat than at at table or desk. Helpful because I have lots of back pain. I put my feet up on an ottoman and I can work for hours like that.It's attractive. I would have liked maybe less of a bold pattern, but it's actually fine. Would also have liked the slot to be wide enough for a tablet and not just a smartphone. But I don't really use that feature anyhow. I would if it were for my pad though, with a keyboard. Works very well with my 13" MacBook air.I have used it in lots of different circumstances too. A little annoying to carry around to waiting rooms but does make it so so much easier to work actually on ones lap than with just a laptop.

I have used this for a week now. I like the fact that it has a spot to hold my larger phone while scanning social media. It seems to be of good quality and sturdy. I have no problems with the laminated top peeling or bubbling as other reviews stated. I would buy again should the need arise.

I looked at a lot of lap desks and am very happy with this one. The surface is smooth but my laptop doesn't slide at all. There's a small bar at the base to stop books or laptops from sliding, if that's an issue. The slot on the top is perfect to hold a cell phone and the elastic band comes in handy. Oh, and the color I got (gray damask) is very classy. Love it!!

Was going crazy looking for a lapdesk for my new MacBook air. I couldn't find anything that I liked or had favorable reviews. Having a cushion on the bottom doesn't always mean comfort. I came upon this lapdesk and thought I'd try it. Loved the price. I love the function too. Very comfortable on my lap...keeps the laptop even....gives me support. Doesn't take up too much real estate either. Plus, both left and right sides pull out in case you need a mouse or want arm support. Great product. I'd buy again.

Comfortable, lightweight, good price point. Perfect size for working from my living room recliner. The phone slot is a nice touch and feels pretty secure. I haven't used the mouse pad much since I'm just using the touch pad on my laptop, but it's nice having some extra space to the side for snacks lol. Maybe not quite big enough for a comfortable gaming session with a larger laptop, like the 17" Asus gaming laptops, but it's very very nice for a 15" Macbook.

Item doesn't feel cheap. It's sturdy and has plenty of room. My laptop is on the larger side and it fits great. I installed a little piece below the mouse pad so it wouldn't fall off when it's tilted though. That is the only thing it is missing.

Quality Construction and Comfortable To Use By: TAD
I needed a solid surface to support my 15" laptop while in a recliner. This lap desk has met my needs and is comfortable to boot. The upholstered pads have a filling that conforms and re-conforms well on uneven surfaces. I especially like the built-in mouse pad and the groove for my smartphone (or a mini tablet). Build quality and appearance are excellent. I can highly recommend this lap desk and would buy this model again if I needed to.

I use this everyday. I am now able to use the 15" macbook pro like I want without blocking the air flow and causing it to get super hot in my lap! I do wish it had something under the mouse to block it from constantly falling, but it's a great lap desk as is!

This is exactly what it was described to be! Fits a laptop and mouse perfectly. Can be used to eat on too! Got it for my fiance and she uses it pretty much every day on the couch, or, in the bed. Works great for her. I believe her laptop is a 17" laptop and it fits well and the mouse pad works great too!
